Volunteer
Consider reaching out to one another - call someone that you think may need a chat or some company.
This may be a survivor, or someone who might appreciate a connection in times of adversity.
The benefits of such acts of kindness should never be underestimated.
Volunteering your time to help with shopping or gardening, be part of a companionship programme, offer transport, provide a meal, a care package or offer support for livestock or pets.
Volunteers will be contacted by a Healing and Hope officer and sensitively matched to a person or persons in need as and when may be required.
Volunteer Support Role
The Healing and Hope Volunteer Support role is to assist the Healing and Hope staff in supporting and providing practical comfort to survivors of child sexual abuse and victims of trauma and their families.
